Abstract
Alexandra Kollontai (1872–1952) was a Russian revolutionary, minister, diplomat, and socialist feminist thinker. From 1908 to 1917, in political exile from the Tsarist regime, she traveled in Europe as a political agitator. In this period she wrote her first essays and fiction stories on love and politics, and on connections between the private and the political.
