    Resumé

    Men udgangspunkt i den danske lovgivning om andetsprogsundervisning for flygtninge og indvandrere diskuteres det om arbejdspladsen er så ideelt et sted at lære andetsprog som der med loven politisk er lagt op til. Det påpeges at det er afgørende om man ser de centrale begreber i loven – sprog-på-arbejde, fleksibilitet, individualisering og effektivisering – som led i en politisk begrænsende diskurs eller en pædagogisk frigørende mod-diskurs. Derefter gives nogle udspil til en sprogpædagogisk udvikling af et dynamisk samspil mellem sprogundervisningsrummet og arbejdsrummet således at kursisten både får mulighed for at forhandle betydning, social kontekst og identitet.
