Abstract
The book describes for the first time the contribution of Scandinavian anti-colonialists to the liberation struggle of Algeria. This solidarity movements was few in numbers but helped shape the form of the subsequent solidarity movement with Vietnam. Editor and principal author: Lars Borking. Preface by Mostafa Benyahia, chair of the Danish-Algerian Friendship Association. Introduction by Mogens Lykketoft, Speaker of the Danish Parliament and former Foreign Minister. Ulrik Kohl has contributed with original research and texts on the Swedish component of the solidarity movement with Algerian liberation movement FLN.
