    Abstract

This paper is about subjectification of the pupil in the Danish primary school (hereafter The Folkeskole). The paper is based on my PhD research. In this paper, I will tell the story about what kind of impact The Folkeskole Act from 2006 has on teaching and the pupil as well. Theoretically, the work draws on the work of Foucault and his successors, and their writings on governing the society and the self. The analysis reveals how the pupil is subjectivated after the implementation of The Folkeskole Act from 2006. My intention is to problematize teaching, techniques and methods and analyze the role of the teacher and the pupil.
