Abstract

The article discusses various reports publsihed within the issue which includes social repercussions of diverse natural disasters and disaster management policies across Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand and Nepal, impact of the 2004 tsunami on Indonesia and the 2008 cyclone Nargis in Myanmar and South Asia, and effects of recurrent flooding in Vietnam and Indonesia.
