    Resumé

    Dette paper undersøger legitimiteten af 'intellektuel ejendom' ('immaterialretspositioner' i dansk juridisk sprogbrug) ved at fokusere på tre aktuelle problemer, henholdsvis spørgsmålet om oprindelige folks kulturelle rettigheder, spørgsmålet om softwarepatenter og spørgsmålet om ejendomslignende rettigheder til viden om livsvigtig medicin. Et sæt af forskellige filosofiske argumenter for legitimiteten af privat ejedomsret anvendes systematisk på de tre problemer, og hvert argument vurderes.
