Discursive Institutionalism: Changing ideas of flying

Publikation: Bidrag til bog/antologi/rapportBidrag til bog/antologiForskningpeer review

Abstract

The chapter analyses how the idea of flying has changed from being something very exclusive that only few people could afford to how market liberalisation made flying affordable for everyone.
The chapter also shows how aviation discourses have changed from originally focusing sovereignty and protection of national territories, to market liberalisation and more recently green growth and flying less.
