The article offers information on the article "The Usability Construct: A Dead End?" by Noam Tractinsky that contends that for scientific research on usability to progress in Human-Computer interactions (HCI). Topics include issues of social theory, mediating between theory and practice, and ISO standards. Also discussed extensively is the concept of usability.
