A presentation of a case and a theoretical discussion concerning what characterizes the sozialisation and formation taking place in educations related to care work inside the Danish welfare system presently. The article presents an analysis of the relation between curriculum, didactics and educational thinking- and students experiences and sensing, and illuminates excluding processes in classrooms related to emotional, non-cognitive and relational aspects of the qualifying process. This is set into a larger framework of the biographical professionalization processes of students, and to the clash between competing rationalities, that cause dilemmas in care.
