Abstract
In the 21st century, the Nordic countries such as Denmark have begun to show high international competitiveness due to the utilization of communication technology and innovation in society. Where does the source of this high international competitiveness come from? The article analyses Danish international competitiveness from "participatory design” perspective, a problem-solving method using multi-stakeholders that are strategically used in Scandinavia. Our investigation imply that in Denmark, cultural, social structure, and strategic methods interact each other to enhance the country's innovation potentials, and participatory design methods are systematized as skills to promote mindset change that is essential for innovation. Several innovation methods was consciously introduced and utilized in organisations and project design.
