Abstract

This article introduces Danish researchers in the field of competence and competencies issues and bears a methodological character: there are presented definitions, content, and significance. The deep understanding and definition of the term competence is represented by outstanding Danish researcher, professor Knud Illeris with assistance of his competence model ”Flower of Competence». The article also presents the author’s view on the problem of the relation of concepts such as competence, competency, qualification, qualifications, knowledge, and skills.
