WTA2: Research on the systematization of inclusion technology in the medical and welfare domains

Previously, in the medical and care domains, welfare services were something given to patients and care recipients by caregivers. With emergence of welfare technology, we are witnessed that the relation between care recipients and caregivers have been changing. While medical and welfare care has started to promote patient-centered care, the independence and autonomy of care recipients have become the center of attention. In order to understand and future direction of inclusion technology, this research, as a preliminary step, will investigate the current cutting edge global states of technology development as well as usage in society including social implementation process and practice in leading medical and welfare technology countries.
