Infrastructuring Living Labs

The purpose of this study is to build a "knowledge infrastructure" that will serve as the foundation for Living Lab (LL) practices suited to local culture and context. The specific components of the knowledge infrastructure for LL practice that this study seeks to build are as follows
Textbook: A textbook that systematically summarizes LL knowledge.
Practical Guide: A practical guidebook for LL beginners
Knowledge Box: A website that aggregates knowledge sources such as LL articles and information on case studies in Japan and more.
Educational Programs: Experiential educational programs for LL beginners and evaluation indicators
Network: A human network (community) for LL theory and research
By building such an infrastructure, the quality of LL practices that have been or will be implemented in various regions in Japan will be continuously raised. As a result, we will increase the number of initiatives to utilize and implement cutting-edge technologies in harmony with society, as well as establish a culture of "co-creation between engineers and consumers".
