Personlig profil

I am a political scientist specialized in public policy and public administration. My research explores how actors collaborate to address major challenges in a context of uncertainty and turbulence. I approach the issue from the vantage point of institutional theory.

Couched in studies of vocational education institutions, as well as managemet of economic and financial crisis, I have developed analytical frameworks for analysing how political-economic ideas that structure interaction between actors develop gradually resulting in significant societal transformation.

I lead two research project funded by the Danish Research Council: one about strengthening the economic, social and environmental sustainability of Danish vocational education (GREENVET, 2023-2026) and another studying the impact of reforms of transition paths in the Danish vocational education system (Two dimensions of transition policies in vocational education, 2024-2027).

I teach in the undergraduate courses

  • Introduction to Social Science Methodology (in Danish: Samfundsvidenskabelig metode)
  • Constructivist analytical strategies

In the Politics and Public Administration program I supervise at all levels and teach the course

  • Political System and Influence (in Danish: Politisk System og Indflydelse)
