Personlig profil

Forskning

I am a political scientist specialized in public policy and public administration. My research explores how actors collaborate to address major challenges in a context of uncertainty and turbulence. I approach the issue from the vantage point of institutional theory.

Couched in studies of vocational education institutions, as well as managemet of economic and financial crisis, I have developed analytical frameworks for analysing how political-economic ideas that structure interaction between actors develop gradually resulting in significant societal transformation.

I lead three research project funded by the Danish Research Council: one about strengthening the economic, social and environmental sustainability of Danish vocational education (GREENVET, 2023-2026);  another studying the impact of reforms of transition paths in the Danish vocational education system (Two dimensions of transition policies in vocational education, 2024-2027) and, finally, together with Lena Brostrøm I study the implementation of green reforms in vocational schools (Collaborative governance and the implementation of green skills in vocational education, 2025-2028).

I am Associate Editor of Journal of European Public Policy.
