Personlig profil

I work at the interdisciplinary nexus of communication, organization and technology studies. Within this context, my research focuses on strategic management as a communicative activity, thoroughly entangled with technology.

I serve as director of Digital Media Lab, and co-chair of Organizing Communication and Digitization. In addition, I am member of the Academic Council and the Committee on Gender Equality and Diversity at Roskilde University.

I hold a PhD degree in Organization Studies from Copenhagen Business School and a MA degree in Theatre Studies from the University of Copenhagen. The first was awarded based on a thesis titled “This page is not intended for a US audience: A five-act spectacle on online communication, collaboration and organization”. The PhD assessment committee consisted of Martin Kornberger (Chair), Edith G. Smit and Mark Deuze, and my supervisors were Sine Nørholm Just and Anne Reff Pedersen.

I have had the pleasure of being visiting scholar at USC Annenberg (invited by Margaret McLaughlin) and Center on Organizational Innovation at Columbia University (invited by David Stark).

I collaborate with organizations such as DRDanish Chamber of Commerce and Zealand University Hospital, and serve on the Board of Directors for ComCaseCompetition, as well as jury member for Speciale Prisen - K-forum.
