Forskning

I am a postdoc researcher in the International Development research Group (IDRG), one of the research groups  in the Department of Social Sciences and Business at Roskilde University.

I research development and international politics with focus on global dvelopment agenda such as SDGs, international development cooperation (e.g. Danish-Tanzania relations in development aid and China-Tanzania relations in transport infrastructure development), children and youth politics of development engagement, youth and climate change imagination and engagement, digitization and politics of inclusion and partciapation and African politics and policy processes. In all these research, i draw and relay on qualitative research methods and data and employ historical methods that engages with archival data as well.

 

Undervisning

I partcipate  in the teaching of number of courses in the department but mostly Advanced Methodology Course: Interview Methods, and  Sustainability, Development and Inequality, both (Masters courses) and International development: culture, Power and Society (Bachelor course). Equally, I supervise research projects both for Masters and Bachelor degree students.
