Forskning
I have a background in public and international administration and have previously worked as an advisor in the Danish Ministry of Climate, Energy, and Utilities, and as a specialist in UNDP on sustainable energy and climate change mitigation.
My research focuses primarily on geopolitics, international political economy (IPE), and sustainability. I have a special interest in global energy transition and climate mitigation efforts in developing countries.
I am employed at the Danish Institute of International Studies (DIIS) working with a group of researchers on a larger research project that explores how China and Japan, through their development aid, can influence and diffuse norm formation in developing countries.
At RUC I teach sessions in the MA in International Politics and Governance and the MA in Global and Development Studies, and I am very interested in supervising projects within international development and/or international climate policy.
