Beskrivelse

A map published in the recently released ‘World Investment Report 2008’ succinctly summarises the growing importance of Chinese and Indian investors to the development of infrastructure in Africa. Produced by the United National Conference on Trade and Development (Unctad), but based on research by Arno Nepgen and Johanna Jansson, of the Centre for Chinese Studies at the University of Stellenbosch, the graphic shows investments made by Chinese and Indian companies into water, transport, power and telecoms projects across Africa up to April 2008.
