Danish researchers to study pharmaceutical pollution in Arctic whales

A new research project led by Roskilde University is set to uncover how pharmaceutical pollution impacts Arctic whales. Funded with DKK 10 million from the Velux Foundation, the study will investigate the presence and effects of pharmaceutical residues and other synthetic chemicals-like PFAS, pesticides, and PCBs-on marine mammals in the Arctic.
