The Representation of Representation: The Meaning of Form in Television News

Beskrivelse

How the form of television news governs content in general and especially who is included into the news discourse. The convergence of textual and social representation in television news construct sources interviewed as representatives, elected or not. TV news form only recognizes one type of democratic articulation as legitimate thereby excluding others.
