BeskrivelseFour researchers from the department spent five intellectually, geographically and socially stimulating days in MSUPE, in Moscow as a part of Erasmus + international credit mobility ( ICM)project for staff
Concepts from psychological and educational research building on the Cultural Historical Activity Theory (CHAT) tradition ( L.S.Vygotsky, A.N.Leontief, A.R. Luriya) founded in Russia , formed the main feature of the knowledge exchange visit from the hosts. While problem based group work and Social Psychology of Everyday Life psycholgy at Roskilde university was focus from DPT group. Diversity , migration and cross cultural psychology were the themes for a joint seminar with relevant presentations by MSUPE students and RUC researcher..
Highlight was an inspiring excursion in MSUPE to the Game and Toys Examination Center and a discussion meeting "The Activity Approach and Cultural - Historical Psychology in the Analysis of the Social Infrastructure of Modern Childhood".
A vast Collection of ‘psychologically correct’ as well as ‘ incorrect’ toys was highly inspiring and unique. Visiting Moscow School 91 , functioning on Vygotsky’s principles and spending a couple of hours in a class with 10 year old students were thought provoking.
While a visit to Vygotsky’s university in the city and the modern brain research center were both historical and modern psychological experiences
Both the partners after the visit are reciprocally motivated to apply for continuation of the ICM project.
