My talk was one session out of three under the following description: Music criticism of the future – a lecture series on art music in the public sphere The Magazine Nutida Musik presents a series of lectures where Swedish and international critics in the areas of art music and sound art give their perspectives on what art music criticism is, can be, and what relevance it has to the public sphere. How is art music and sound art received? What importance and role does criticism have for new live music? How does art music criticism relate to criticism of other art forms as well as that of literature, art, and theatre?
