Psychology at RU, a focus on the Relationships & Wellness Research- A presentation organised by  Associate Professor Joanna Hood , RU

A group of 24 students and Professor Louise Anderson**, from the College of Saint Scholastica, at RUC as part of their Scandinavian Wellness study tour in Denmark. They came to visit RUC (03.1ne01 Auditorie C), and you are invited to meet them.
It's a great opportunity for RUC students to network with international students. It is also an informal opportunity to gain an understanding of what it is like to be involved in a semi-structured interview and to reflect on issues like wellness, inequality, and welfare, broadly considered, which is the theme of their study tour. Contacts with other students may also be invaluable for future projects and international networking.
**Prof Laurie Anderson teaches Lifespan Developmental Psychology and Social Psychology. Prior to counseling and teaching at CSS, she ran an alternative learning program for high risk adolescents and worked with inmates at several institutions within the Federal Bureau of Prisons. Her areas of interest include lifespan development, personal wellness, and issues of grief and loss.

The CSS students are currently in various levels of their bachelor's degrees and from different programs in life and social sciences and humanities. They hope to meet students (Danish and International) and understand more about the quality of life and education in Denmark. They'd like to learn about the RUC student experience and how it differs from their experience in an American university (they are excited to learn about the student bar, which is not allowed on their campus). They'll be touring the WHO, and the UN, and possibly participating in some spring bathing and other activities as part of their tour.
