Beskrivelse
It is a well-established fact that people of foreign descent encounter discrimination and racism in different aspects of social life and find being fully recognized into Swedish society difficult. The question then is what do the most personal and intimate social relations that individuals engage in look like? My doctoral dissertation focuses on an area that has not yet received much research attention in Sweden, namely interracial dating, marriage and childbearing. Applying mixed methods, the study investigates the majority society's opinions and attitudes toward interracial relationships in Malmö, Sweden.
