The panel will discuss characteristics, key analytical concepts as well as recent developments in feminist uses and re-conceptualizations of governmentality. A key issue for this panel is to explore the challenges and possibilities for feminists using governmentality and how different analytical concepts work with governmentality.
We welcome theoretical, methodological and empirically oriented papers, and have the ambition of pin-pointing challenges for feminist governmentalities in taking on central dimensions of studies of politics e.g. democracy, gender mainstreaming, globalizing, marketizing and political change.
