Beskrivelse
Agile methods is said to work best in small co-located teams developing non-critical software. To challenge that we set out to look at an agile method – SCRUM – at the edges.
That is in distributed teams, across countries and culture, and with essential money at risk.
Our first finding was that SCRUM seems to work absolutely fine in such settings.
We then tried to go behind this finding asking why?
The answer we came up with was that five parts of SCRUM work so effectively as boundary objects that it offsets the usual deficiencies of agile methods
